Changzhou – China
Project of a showroom in GuangZhou, China, for a company belonging to the Poltrona Frau group.
The interior design project involved the renovation of a pre-existing industrial building in Changzhou, China, transforming it into an open-space commercial and exhibition area for two distinct brands. The main design challenge was to create an environment that combined attractiveness and functionality, despite the difficulties in communication and project management from Italy, the tight budget constraints, and the extremely compressed construction timeline. The distributive concept included the insertion of a show kitchen, intended to serve as a focal point and venue for events and cooking lessons. A further significant element was the integration of a pre-existing external feature, originally characterized by deterioration, which was redeveloped and transformed into a distinctive and characterizing element of the new space. The primary objective of this LFSN project was the creation of a space that reflected the identity of the brands and achieved the redevelopment and revitalization of the building and the surrounding area.
