LFSN office was born in 2009, putting the several professional experiences acquired by its members to good use. The firm main field is architecture, but the office works also in product design and interior design for shipbuilding and public spaces. LFSN approach to design is specialized and tailored: every single project is conceived and built around client and projects specific requirements, always paying attention to the use of light and materials, to their functional and chromatic matching.
In 2010 LFSN has been included in the 20 best offices in “young Italian architect” competition. Subsequently the office won the honourable mention in the international competition “I Portici”; won the award “Selinunte sezione Young Italian Architects”, passed the first selection of the italian fair titled “contemporany language” organized bu CNAPPC and has been inserted in the list of the best under 40, sicilian architects by AIAC (italian association of critic architecture), and it was recently mentioned in the “next landmark” architecture prize. Since 2010 group’s works were exposed at the Architecture house in Rome and in other italian cities like: Bergamo, Ferrara, Cagliari, Catania, Ragusa, Selinunte and published on the volumes “YA-Young Italian Architects”, “30<40” and on the e-book “Sicily beyond crisis”. Recently the LFSN projects have been published on the websites of THE PLAN, INTERNI, AREA and on the book “Panorama Italiano vol.5” published by THE PLAN. Livio Ficarra and Silvia Nardi were invited to give a lecture at SOU, the school of architecture for children at Farm Cultural Park, in Favara.
From 2012 LFSN is committed in the international context working on the design of an exhibition and sales space in ChangZhou, China with a society of Poltona Frau’s group and for the New Yorker company Tihany Design, working on projects and building supervision of public spaces of several cruise ships. Main clients ol LFSN group, besides yet quoted Tihany design, are societies inside the gropus of Poltrona Frau, Edf energies nouvelles, Dedalus S.p.a, Al&Al Marine.
